I had a few ladies over for a potluck crostini party, inspired by Bon Appetit. We had white bean rosemary hummus, brie, goat cheese, a variety of cured meat, deviled egg dip, raspberry spread, cucumbers, tapanade and lots and lots of wine.

November 18, 2012 (Friends Thanksgiving)

The fifth annual friends thanksgiving commenced on Sunday afternoon...















These friends have laughed with me and cried with me through a tumultuous 2012, so I am especially thankful for them. This tradition meant just a little extra to me this go round. These people are the marrow of life. I couldn't ask for a better group of people to surround myself with, so it was nice to bring everyone around the table for a big meal, my favorite way of spending time together.

November 12, 2012 (Exploring the Southwest Waterfront)

Andrew and I spent our Monday off wandering all over the Southwest Waterfront and discovering hidden marinas. Later that evening, I went to the Smitten Kitchen book signing with Janet and Chris and totally expected to take pictures but there were about 400 people squished in there, and it was extremely un-photogenic. Oh well. You lose some, you win some.

November 11, 2012 (Union Market + Fire Pit)
