September 8, 2012 (Favorite Things Party)

In what is sure to become an annual tradition (much like Friends Thanksgiving), I threw a Favorite Things party for all my favorite ladies. You each bring five copies of your favorite thing costing $6 or less. Then we all explain what we love about our pick, draw names and trade!

Up for grabs, we had: Trader Joes's Harvest Grain Mix, Loreal Nail Polish, Up & Up nail polish remover pads, Lush bath bombs and Daim chocolate, cookie butter, a cute bowl of Hershey's Kisses, Revlon Custom Eye Shadow, and an exfoliation kit with St. Ives scrub and Baby Oil gel.

So fun.

We headed home to North Carolina for the long weekend. Waves, wine, friends, seafood, sand, puppies. I've decided this is what I want my life to be like, always.

On a whim, I joined Foodie Pen Pals. I was lucky to receive a package of awesomeness from Lesely. I was thrilled to be paired with her, since we share the same food philosophy when it comes to cooking (low sugar, high fiber, high protien). Her blog is inspiring. She graced me with tahini, pumpkin butter, veggie chips, flax seeds, unsweetened coconut, and a few chai teabags. (Bless her, how did she know!?)
