October 13, 2012 (Birthday Party)

All I wanted for my birthday was to sit by the water, watch the sunset, roast s'mores over a fire, and eat yummy food surrounded by the people that I love. I got exactly that. It was perfect. I could not have asked for anything more.

This month for Foodie Pen Pals, I received a fun box from Kendra, who lives in Seattle. She sent me lots of local treats, including Theo's Dark Chocolate (with sea salt!), Rub with Love by Tom Douglas, Black Pepper and Salt nuts, Pistachio Butter, Rose Tea, and Split Pea Soup.
