For the record, sushi making is extremely high maintenance.
Besides all the chopping and prep work, making the rice involves such steps as "fanning for two minutes" (which we did with the iPad because we're bougie like that) and "letting rice cool in a drafty place"... seriously.
It was also incredibly messy (but Brad cleaned that part up!)

oh hay, awesome countertops! i would greet the sushi just as warmly if i liked it. but i hope it was yummy!
