Twas two nights before Christmas, and all through the apartment house, all the creatures were stirring, even my kinda-sorta-spouse.
The stockings were hung... err, placed... by the tree with care... (except my stocking didn't arrive in the mail until the day after, thanks Vistaprint! so we used one of my REAL stockings...) in hopes that Mr. Bradley would soon be there.
For our anniversary, Brad gave me a sushi-making kit.
For the record, sushi making is extremely high maintenance.
Besides all the chopping and prep work, making the rice involves such steps as "fanning for two minutes" (which we did with the iPad because we're bougie like that) and "letting rice cool in a drafty place"... seriously.
It was also incredibly messy (but Brad cleaned that part up!)
I decided to spend my Veteran's Day in New York City visiting Nuri. We started out the day at Dough in Bed-Stuy and then headed over to walk the Brooklyn Bridge. From there, we went to TKTS to snag Broadway tickets. We landed tickets for Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and then took the subway over to Chelsea to check out Co. pizza and the High Line. Not satisfied with our day of skyline admiration, we took the Roosevelt Island Tram (inspired by Alice of Lingered Upon). Finally, we watched our show, had a mcnugget snack and fell into bed. Best day ever.
