Sunday, April 24, 2011 (Easter)

My parents were in town visiting, and the city seemingly burst open with colors for them. We went to church in the morning, I made brunch, then we visited Dumbarton Oaks in Georgetown in the afternoon.

This past Saturday turned out to be one my favorite days in recent history. The boyfriend was sick with a cold, miserable and in bed, so I unexpectedly had the day to myself. It turned into one of those quietly cozy, pretty rainy days.

New Orleans Trip

I tried to do just one day, but all the other pictures wanted to be shown too, and they were so insistent that I couldn't resist. So here's our trip to New Orleans, in no particular order. I promise we'll be back to our regularly scheduled programming this weekend.
