Rebecca and I made a pilgrimage up to Terrian in Glen Mills, PA. We lunched at Styer's Garden Cafe and then spent a few hours poring over the goods.

After discovering the new farmer's market at Eastern Market on Tuesday nights, I whipped up a farm-fresh dinner for Andrew and Kisha on my little patio.

July 7, 2012 (Poplar Springs Inn & Spa Summer Trip)

I can't stay away from Poplar Springs Inn & Spa. Martine and I made our second annual pilgrimage for a pool and spa day, and it was as pretty and as indulgently relaxing as the first visit.

June 29, 2012 (Wine Club)

You know how they say that friends are family that you get to choose? Well, if that's the case, my family (both real and chosen) is unrivaled. Over the past few weeks, they have been helpful, protective, kind, thoughtful, caring, giving. Which is why when I realized that June was my turn to host wine club I was determined to make it happen, come hell, high water or hot weather (which we had in spades).

I was so glad I did... look at them, the very salt of the earth.












I mean, really. Could you want for more?
