December 28, 2012 (Eating Tour of Union Market)
I am shamelessly obsessed with Union Market. Fellow We Love DC owner Rebecca and I headed over Friday night to eat our way through all the food stands while talking shop. We started at Righteous Cheese for cheese flights, then headed over to Buffalo and Bergen for soda made by Gina Chersevani paired with a bacon and cheese knish. We finished out the night at Rappahannock River Oysters where I ate the most amazing scallops of my entire life, hands down. Good thing I'm going to start training for the Cherry Blossom 10 Mile, because after a night like that, I'll need it.
